About me
Hi there,
My name is Aleksandar Jovanovic, I was born on August 29, 1989 in Serbia (Krusevac)
I’ve been coaching since I finished high school and started studying, more precisely since 2008.
In 2008, I finished my athletic career and decided to work at coaching, so I became a coach/assistant in the athletic club.
In the club, I learned a lot from my coach Goran Begovic, and I can say that in less than a few years, we significantly increased the number of members in the club, and later, of course, we recorded excellent results in all categories. I was an active coach at the club until I moved to Sweden in 2019.
In the meantime, while I was studying at the High School of Chemistry and Technology (majoring in pharmaceutical technology engineering), I also completed my education for the title of athletic trainer, as well as fitness trainer a little later, in order to obtain a Rugby trainer’s license in 2017.
Where do I come from in rugby? That’s another interesting thing in my life.
I got interested in rugby quite by chance in a gym where I worked out, when I got in touch with the president of the club, who told me on that occasion, “Um, you’re fast, you can be a great rugby player on wing position,in club we need a player like you, come and try rugby.”
And here I am, quite by chance, in a gladiatorial sport where, as in athletics, I recorded good results. I performed first for the rugby 13 club Car Lazar, a little later for Crvena Zvezda and finally for the Swedish club Skane Crusaders…
In 2019, I moved to Sweden, where I start working as a fitness trainer at Team Akered. After 6 months, I fell in love with tennis and decided to take a tennis coaching course and in the second half of 2019 I startet working as a tennis coach also.
So now I can say that I may be a unique case in the world (fitness, athletics, rugby and tennis coach) – One man show
